2. What is the format of your courses?

We offer a variety of formats including book clubs, skills practice groups and structured programs conducted via Zoom. Sessions are typically held weekly and span several weeks, providing consistent support and learning opportunities.


3. Who are the instructors leading the courses?

Our courses are led by experienced professionals in the field of mental health and personal development. Our instructors, including Heather Clague MD, Dawn O'Meally LCSW-C, P.A., Leigh Harrington MD, and Brandon Vance MD, bring expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches.


4. Are these courses a replacement for therapy?


No, Our courses are not a substitute for individual therapy.  They can be a great educational  adjunct, and we recommend that you share with your therapist what you are learning if you are receiving therapy.

6. Are the courses suitable for individuals with specific mental health conditions?


Our courses offer strategies and techniques that can benefit individuals dealing with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and low self-esteem. While our programs are educational and supportive, they are not intended to replace professional therapy or medical treatment.


7. Do you offer financial assistance or sliding-scale fees?


Yes, we understand that financial constraints can be a barrier to accessing mental health support. Some of our courses and programs offer sliding-scale fees.  We strive to ensure that financial limitations do not prevent individuals from participating. 8. Are the courses and programs offered by CBT Groups accessible to individuals residing outside the USA?


Yes, our courses are accessible to individuals from different countries. We accommodate participants in various time zones and offer online sessions via Zoom, making it convenient for local and international attendees to join.
